Exploring dry riverbeds with KCS CEO, Russell Vinjevold, is like a pleasure ride of surprises.  There is always something to see – big or small – and even the seemingly most insignificant creature or plant, has a story.

On this occasion a pair of young Tawny Eagles perched on top of a Camelthorn tree, clearly silhouetted against the backdrop of stark plains and rugged hills, were indeed an exciting discovery.  While the presence of these raptors may be nothing out of the ordinary for born and bred Namibians, to come across them in their natural habitat never fails to delight!
