Battle of the birds

On two separate KCS safaris a pair of Black Eagles were spotted, soaring high above the Hoarusib River.  While these raptors are not uncommon in Namibia, their presence here is a somewhat rarer sight.  The birds seemed to be nesting on a ridge flanking the riverbed, much to the ire of two Augur Buzzards who expressed their disgruntlement by constantly dive-bombing and harassing the much larger birds.
